Tristan is an PhD student in the lab. Tristan completed a BSc (Hons) in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax. He first became involved in our lab during this time as a Summer Student and a volunteer. Tristan has come to the University of Calgary to continue these studies, which are focused on the role of the autonomic nervous system and natriuretic peptides in sinoatrial node dysfunction in heart disease. Tristan is using telemetry, patch-clamping and molecular biology to conduct his studies.
