Motahareh (Bahar) is a research associate in the laboratory. She received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Tehran Polytechnic University. Bahar undertook postdoctoral fellowship training in the lab. She used telemetry ECG and high resolution optical mapping to study electrophysiology and arrhythmogenesis in heart failure, diabetes and aging/frailty. Bahar continues to work on the development of new approaches for analyzing optical mapping data.
